Michael serves as Executive Chairman of Claro Advisors. Prior to NDVR's merger with Claro in 2026, he was the founder and CEO of NDVR, Inc. Previously, Michael co-founded LogMeIn, where he served as Chairman and CEO for 13 years and led the company through its initial public offering. Under his leadership, LogMeIn grew from a single remote-access product into a leading provider of essential cloud services used by millions of people worldwide. Before LogMeIn, Michael founded and served as CEO of Uproar Inc., a Nasdaq-listed provider of online game shows and interactive entertainment, which was acquired by Vivendi Universal Games, Inc. in March 2001.
In 2025, Michael was awarded the Harsanyi Prize, named after Nobel laureate John Harsanyi, recognizing exceptional contributions to the advancement of entrepreneurial processes worldwide.
Michael earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He currently serves on the Graduate Studies Advisory Council at the University of Notre Dame.
Michael and his wife, Katalina, have three children. They live in Boston, Massachusetts, and frequently spend time in Budapest, Hungary. His interests include golf, reading, skiing, and helping early-stage companies grow.
